Objectives

To direct and supervise the administration affairs of the municipality in order to attain its development plans and objectives.
To attend to the problems and gripes of the populace in order to bring the people closer to the administration.
To ensure the implementation and execution of the development program of the municipality.

RECENT AWARDS

• Gawad Kampeon ng Kabataang Pilipino (10 Outstanding Legislators for Youth Development of the Philippines) conferred to Vice-Mayor Bruce Colao by the National Youth Commission (NYC) and the National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) (2006)

• Gawad Kalasag Award for the Municipal Disaster Management Program conferred by the Office of Civil Defence (OCD) for Region-10 (2005/2006)

• Most Child-Friendly Municipality of the Province of Misamis Oriental under the Presidential Search for Most Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities in the Philippines (2006)
